Mission
Evolve and expand the existing brand to create a modern, versatile visual identity that the company could use across printed and digital promotional material and products to encourage investment, expansion, and global custom.
Realising that jellyfish are a source of such strong iconic visuals, we based our activity around this beautiful creature.
The early logotype concepts explored mark making and abstract shapes based on its typical shape. This evolved into more of a modern minimal take that would lend itself to a variety of end applications including packaging, exhibition collateral, web and social media and iconography. The new mark was accompanied by sans serif type and an aqua colour palette which has been utilised across print and web.
As a new start-up, Jellagen didn’t have huge amounts of existing content to house online. Our focus was to build some initial brand awareness online. We created an easily scalable, CMS-driven website, allowing products and services to be added over time. A video background was used to add additional visual interest.
An icon set was then developed to represent Jellagen’s key products and service offering. The website adds an extra dimension to the brand through use of vibrant and dynamic video to show the source of this wonderful product. The same striking imagery features on other marketing.
Outcome
The new brand has received overwhelmingly positive feedback and has contributed to Jellagen securing both new investment and new customers.
We continue to work with Jellagen to manage their brand, their website, and to develop new material such as durable and recognisable product packaging for their kits.
